The Henrico-based insurer again extended the timeline for its pending deal to be acquired by conglomerate China Oceanwide. It’s the ninth time the deal has been extended since it was announced in 2016. The company said this latest extension is related to its discussion with Canadian regulators, who still must approval the deal for it to go through.

The electrical products supplier released its latest proxy statement, disclosing compensation packages paid last year to its top executives.
President and CEO Gregory Trepp received a total pay package of $2.8 million. He received a base salary of $734,000, $903,000 in stock awards and $1.2 million in other incentives.

The proxy also announced the date of the company’s annual shareholders meeting, to be held May 2 at the University of Richmond’s Jepson Alumni Center.
