Kroger Mid-Atlantic recently donated 30 shopping carts to the 5100 Monument Condominium Association, a local senior living community.
The third Shockoe Showdown ping pong tournament was held May 30 and raised $1,400 for James River Association. GeoDecisions hosts the annual event, which this year included participation from Baskervill, Billy Jack’s Shack, CarMax, Commonwealth PR, Fulton Hill Properties, Hue & Cry, Outdoor Access, Randall Branding, Shiplock Brewing Co., Tilt Creative + Production and Torx Media.
Amazon donated $10,000 in resources to Petersburg High School for science, technology, engineering, arts and math courses.

The founders of insurance startup Buddy: Charles Merritt, Jay Paul and David Vogeleer were named to Digital Insurance’s Innovators to Watch list.
Buddy also won the People’s Choice Award at the Plug and Play Summer Summit in Sunnyvale, California.
