Tom Maher’s winning work consisted of underwater portraits of seven company dancers for Richmond Ballet’s 2019-2020 season brochure.

The Martin Agency landed Twisted Tea as a client. The hard-iced-tea brand, part of The Boston Beer Co., hired the agency for creative and advertising strategy work. A campaign rollout is expected in 2020. 

Local photographer Tom Maher’s Stolen Moment Productions won three Silver Awards in the Graphis Photography Annual 2020 international competition. The winning work consisted of underwater portraits of seven company dancers for Richmond Ballet’s 2019-2020 season brochure.

Addison Clark hired Kaylee Brooks as an account coordinator. She holds a degree in data analytics and marketing from William & Mary.

Creative Visual Design picked up four new clients: Brian Fletcher, a local artist and architect portfolio; Barrio, a new restaurant from Richmond Restaurant Group; But Tomorrow, a nonprofit for brain cancer; and National Leagues Alliance, a new youth soccer league. 

Creative Visual Design also shot aerial video of the Kehinde Wiley “Rumors of War” reveal for Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and was hired by Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation to edit videos to be displayed in Virginia State Parks welcome centers.

Solutions Advisors launched a new website for Concordia Life Plan Community, a retirement community in Oklahoma City. Ongoing work for the community includes strategic planning, sales consulting, marketing strategy and implementation, and digital marketing strategy and services.

Padilla promoted six employees in its Richmond office. Samantha Strader was promoted from account supervisor to director in the agency’s corporate communication practice. Blaine Lay was promoted from brand manager to senior brand manager at consulting division Joe Smith. Perry Lowder was promoted from brand strategist to senior brand strategist at Joe Smith.

Kathryn Canning, previously an account supervisor in Padilla’s corporate communication practice, was named a digital strategist. Denise Grega was promoted from senior account executive to account supervisor. Ali Hutcheson was promoted from account executive to senior account executive in the agency’s social media and digital group.

Dotted Line provided brand development and created a new website for Avenue 8 Advisors, an executive coaching and consulting company. Work included redesigning the firm’s logo and web presence.

Golden Word moved its office to 711A N. Alliston St. The PR firm previously shared a space with office design firm Flourish Spaces at Clay and Third streets.
