BizSense Pro is getting a reboot.
Our premium data subscription pricing will be changing to be more intuitive for our readers as part of a massive technology upgrade we’ve implemented.
We’re also changing and adding to what’s included in your subscription.
First, we’ve simplified billing. The cost is now $98 per year per paid member. For our readers who might want to test it out or pay as you go, the cost is $15 per month. And the system is set up to remember you and your login when you return to our site.
We do require an account for each reader who wants access to data and other Pro content. For our corporate clients, we can build a company-wide membership plan for any size and put all the billing on one charge once per year, and then authorize an administrator to add/subtract readers as folks come and go.
Speaking of content, here’s what’s included with a subscription:
- The Docket, a weekly roundup of business-related court cases from around the region (published every Thursday)
- The Pipeline, a weekly commercial real estate roundup of sales and leases from local brokerages (Fridays)
- New Business Licenses, a weekly list of info on the region’s newest businesses (Fridays)
- Foreclosures, a weekly list of all the upcoming foreclosure auctions scheduled in the region (Mondays)
- The Agenda, a weekly summary of what’s up for consideration at local government meetings (Mondays)
- Breaking Ground, our twice-monthly building permits report (every other Wednesday)
- The Pitch, a twice-monthly showcase of the work done by local ad/marketing agencies (every other Tuesday)
- The DeedBook, our twice-monthly list of local real estate transfers (every other Friday)
- The R&D Dept., the twice-monthly summary of patents issued to local inventors (every other Wednesday)
- Trading Day, the twice-monthly report of SEC filings posted by local publicly traded companies (every other Thursday)
Perhaps the most notable new addition to the Pro package is the BizSense News Archive. All our news stories will be part of this new paid archive after 30 days from the date they’re published. That’s nearly 15 years’ worth (and counting) of intel on local businesses and businesspeople in an easy-to-search archive.
To be clear, this does not mean all our news is now behind a paywall. All newly published BizSense stories will remain free to access for the first 30 days after their publication. And the BizSense Newsfeed, our morning email blast with 20,000 subscribers, will continue to be free to sign up for and receive.
Fear not, we’re easing into these changes and will be phasing them in over the coming weeks.
