As you’ll notice, there are some similarities and differences between the RVA 25 list and the list of local companies on the recently released Inc. 5000.
That’s due to RVA 25 rankings being based on the average annual revenue growth over the last three calendar years — in this case, 2019-2021.
Eligible RVA 25 companies must be privately-held, headquartered in the Richmond region and have been in business for at least the last three full calendar years. And companies must have had a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in 2021.
Still, several of this year’s local Inc. 5000 winners are also on this year’s RVA 25: Capital Square, Elite Force Holdings, Git The Trucking Commercial Tires, Old Dominion Mechanical, Paymerang, Scents of Serenity Organic Spa and last year’s RVA 25 No. 1, Summit Human Capital.
