Virginia Tourism Corp. named two new agencies of record following a request-for-proposals process. Norfolk-based Sway Creative Labs was selected as its lead advertising agency, and Utah-based Love Communications was named lead agency for paid media. Both contracts took effect July 1.
The firms replace The Martin Agency, which had been Virginia Tourism’s lead agency for both advertising and paid media since 2018.
Martin handled a social reboot for Bud Light as part of the beer brand’s reintroduction of its Bud Knight mascot, Muse by Clio reports.
Shapes & Colors is developing new branding and a website for No Job Too Small in RVA, a local building maintenance contracting company.
Chesterfield County’s Communications and Media Division won two platinums, two golds and an honorable mention in this year’s Hermes Creative Awards. The platinum awards recognized a podcast episode and bond referendum video series, while the golds were for its Chesterfield On Point blog and government overview video series. The honorable mention recognized an electronic billboard.
Burford Advertising was named lead creative and media agency for Sheltering Arms Institute. The agency aims to roll out new creative for the Goochland-based physical rehab facility in October.
Farmer John: So California/Anthem from Elevation on Vimeo.
Elevation launched a new campaign for client Farmer John. The campaign builds on the “So California” brand positioning that the agency developed for the West Coast-based sausage maker and includes a 30-second lead spot that is running in California.
Three 15-second spots were developed for streaming platforms, and the campaign also includes social media and digital display advertising. Los Angeles-based Zaza Productions filmed the ads at locations in California.
