Job description
- One year minimum experience as an advertising sales representative or similar role
- Ability to cold call prospects and initiate contact with new clients
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage client accounts
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new advertising clients and meet — virtually or in person — with in-bound prospects who want to learn more about our advertising opportunities
- Coordinate with advertising department to create and deliver contracts and proposals
- Manage client accounts and build long-term relationships to ensure retention
- Coordinate campaign deliverables to ensure deadlines are met
- Provide weekly sales reports to advertising director
- Meet weekly with advertising director
Three Month Training Period:
- Required 3 months of BizSense sales training
- Weekly meetings with advertising director
- HubSpot, product, contract training sessions
- Practice sales calls
Compensation & Benefits:
- This is a 1099 contractor role
- Expenses paid for meetings up to $250/month
- Expenses paid for industry, networking events
- Training pay (first 3 months only): $5,000/month
- After 3-month training, $5,000/month training pay ends. And pivots to 100% commission.
- Commission is set at 20% on all warm lead contracts, dropping to 10% after a year for the lifespan of the client
- Commission is set at 30% on all cold lead contracts, dropping to 20% after a year
- Bonuses when sales goals are met
