Nearly every Tuesday for much of the last 10 years, loyal BizSense readers have grown accustomed to clicking on The Herd to get their weekly fix of new hires, promotions and departures at businesses around Richmond.
Published Tuesday mornings, The Herd has a faithful following and is routinely one of our most-read posts of the day when it runs.
Starting tomorrow, we’re introducing a new way to see who’s coming and going around town. Behold, The Herd 2.0.
Sponsored by C&F Bank, this standalone email will feature our usual full list of the week’s people moves, plus eye-catching headshots of the names you’re reading about. Redesigned industry headers will make the full list better-organized and easier to peruse.
And, like we did in 2016 with our commercial real estate roundup Pipeline 2.0, The Herd 2.0 will be sent separate from and later than our morning Newsfeed (which now boasts more than 16,000 subscribers and counting).
That’s to give you something to read midday and make it easier to forward to colleagues and contacts as you use the info for leads, intel, gossip, etc.
For those of you who read BizSense through our homepage rather than the daily Newsfeed, not to worry: we’ll still publish the full Herd list on RichmondBizSense.com on Tuesdays. And if you miss the Herd 2.0 email on Tuesdays, we’ll include a link to access it on Wednesdays.
We hope you enjoy the new format. As always, please share your feedback or questions by emailing [email protected].
