Owen Design Co. created a campaign for Virginia-based tennis equipment supplier Har-Tru’s sponsorship of the WTA Credit One Charleston Open tennis tournament. The multi-channel campaign included two TV spots, digital stadium motion graphics and court displays, an event booth, merchandise, social media ads and updates to Har-Tru’s website.
Owen collaborated with video production agencies Mondial and South Carolina-based Vive Media on the TV spots, which aired nationally on Tennis Channel throughout this month’s tournament. Additional videos were developed featuring timelapse installation of the stadium clay court, how-to maintenance instruction and a sales video.
Torx redesigned the website for Jo-Jo’s Famous New York Style Pizza & Subs. The redesign was in conjunction with the downtown pizzeria’s opening of its Midlothian location. The updated site allows for online ordering at both locations. Torx also was hired by Camp Mont Shenandoah, an all-girls summer camp located in Bath County, to develop a new website.
Addison Clark produced a product information video and marketing materials for client Osborn’s Sealeze brush products line for a recent tradeshow in Austin, Texas. The agency also produced a video for client Cross Timbers Roofing. The 30-second clip features Richmond Flying Squirrels COO Todd “Parney” Parnell thanking the Virginia-based roofing company for constructing a new roof on The Diamond’s Party Pavilion.
The Martin Agency released two spots on Twitch as part of the livestreaming service’s Gecko Gaming campaign for Geico. The spots feature video game OG Cuphead and voice actress Ellen McLain, known for her role in puzzle platform game “Portal.”

Martin worked with Spang on a spot for UPS. Called “Year-round Caddies,” the 30-second clip highlights small businesses of Augusta, Georgia, in relation to this year’s Masters golf tournament. Cinematographer Megan Stacey shot the clip, which was written by Martin and directed by Spang’s Jordan Rodericks.
The King Agency developed two TV spots and a 30-second radio spot for plastic packing manufacturer Klöckner Pentaplast as part of a hiring recruitment campaign. The spots highlight the company’s work-life balance and involved Broadscope Media, which produced the TV spots.
River City Consulting completed a new website for local nonprofit Richmond ToolBank.
Evergib completed branding for Big Kitchen Hospitality‘s Conejo restaurant. Work included brand strategy, messaging, creative direction and website development. The agency collaborated with 903 Creative on logo and visual identity work, which features a rabbit and Mexican heirloom corn in reference to Conejo’s Spanish translation and associations.
Stoqd Marketing is doing branding, logo and website design for Stugii, a cigar outlet launching in Central Virginia; for Coho RV and Marina in Oregon; and for JRK Renovations, a Central Virginia kitchen and bathroom contractor. It’s handling social media management for Virginia-based Valley Landscaping and digital advertising for Virdio, a fitness platform based in Alexandria.
Stoqd is doing logo and brand design for Virginia wedding venue Anderson Mill Estates; web design for Startak Fiber, a fiber optics contractor based in Florida; and a news release for Blue Edge Financial in Texas. Other new clients include NP Residential, a Texas-based real estate brokerage.
Red Orange Studio designed environmental graphic installations for Urology of Virginia commemorating the medical practice’s 100th anniversary. The graphics highlight its founders and company milestones and profile current providers, residents and fellows.
VCU Brandcenter kicked off its annual recruiter session Monday, continuing with an online format introduced during the pandemic. Over 275 recruiters signed up for the weeklong event, which features a website showcasing the work of the 89 students that make up its Class of 2022. At least nine of the students had already lined up jobs before the site went live Monday.
Agencies and companies participating in the session include Google, Meta, Wieden + Kennedy, Dollar Shave Club, Highdive and Preacher. More than 40 signed up for individual info sessions, with more than half of those electing to visit in person.
