Poolhouse produced a tourism video for Virginia Tourism Corp. Called “Welcome to Virginia,” the 60-second video features Gov. Glenn Youngkin, who worked with Poolhouse on political ads in his election campaign. Poolhouse was paid $268,600 from the state agency for the work, the Times-Dispatch reported.

Padilla was hired by Richmond Region Tourism to create an integrated marketing campaign. The campaign will be funded with American Rescue Plan Act funds provided to RRT’s jurisdictions to drive tourism recovery. Padilla was selected through a competitive search.

Padilla was hired by Moleaer to develop a digital marketing program. Work for the California-based agricultural tech company will include a paid media and social program to build brand awareness and drive demand for the company’s water-based nanobubble technology. Much of the work will be led by the agency’s digital and channels teams that are based in Richmond.

Pitch RedOrange Weller and Threads

Red Orange Studio created logos for Threads Uniform Agency and Weller Insurance.

Red Orange Studio completed a rebrand of Ukrop’s Threads, which is now Threads Uniform Agency. The rebrand includes a new logo, website and other collateral. The agency also completed brand strategy work for Weller Insurance. The work includes a new brand identity and website.

Nez & Pez created a website for local cybersecurity firm Assura to promote Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The “Celebrate an Occasion” site presents a mock hack of images that can be shared on social media.

Jaclyn Ruelle left The Martin Agency for a job as vice president, head of brand for pizza chain Papa John’s. She was a senior VP and managing director for cultural impact and brand communications at Martin since 2019.

Addison Clark produced six informational videos for Gilman Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. The videos, about mini-split air conditioning units, are the basis for a marketing plan that highlights Gilman’s work with unit supplier Daikin. The marketing plan includes emails, social media posts, blog posts and other website content.

Xponent21 was hired by Ohio-based Clearview Tinting to strategize and manage its digital marketing. The work covers digital advertising, social media strategy, creative production and search engine optimization. The agency hired Jade Alombro as a web developer.

Fable Branding + Advertising expanded its office at 10800 Midlothian Turnpike and hired eight new employees. Michael Foster is director of accounts and was previously at The Martin Agency. Brett Shiflett is senior account manager. Jenny Shannon is senior project manager.

Kitty Sikes is director of print production and was previously at Yebo. Dermot Faulds is senior broadcast producer. He was previously freelance and is on the board of directors for the Virginia Production Alliance. Lou Copeland is a production artist and was previously at Yebo. Mikaela Petersis junior art director, and Blake Carlson is a junior copywriter; both graduated from VCU in May.
