Business jargon all comes from consultants and academics selling their ideas/books. For years they have been telling businesses their clients don’t want your product/service, they want solutions to their problems. The easiest way to deliver a solution is to label whatever you do as such. Thus, the butcher delivers a meat solution to your protein problem. The good news is that once the buzz word has reached the local shop, the buzziest among us have moved on and it will soon leave the lexicon.
