Bring it on! A restaurant that concentrates on seafood and does it well is long overdue. That it’s cajun is a second plus. I mean we’re 85 miles from the ocean, and my wife and I have long been amazed at the lack of focus on seafood here.

Seafood is the best idea that could have come to Rockett’s landing. Just remember to close the windows and the patio seating when the wind blows from the South.

What makes The Boathouse work is the quality of the operator. Not sure this one will work. Curbside and Metro are … um …

Can’t wait to see more about the ambiance and design. Richmond seems to love close quarters and anything new, so I’m sure it will do well. As a fellow entrepreneur in a time of recession, these projects should be supported and praised – development is tough, and I for one am glad to see expansion in this up-and-coming area of the city.

Coming from the owner of Curbside and Metro? Uh.. yea. It’ll be out of business in a year.

@ DaveM – you think the new restaurant will close in a year because Metro and Curbside closed in a year? I don’t quite understand your logic since both restaurants have been open for at least 10 years.
