Rick Gregory is stepping down as a member of the firm to pursue outside business interests, according to a news release. Gregory is a partner of Fountainhead Properties, which has developed several mixed-use properties. The company is waiting to close on the Reynolds North Plant along the Richmond Canal Walk and develop it with partner WVS Companies.
Taking his place as partner and namesake is Grady Frank, who joined the firm last year to lead a new Northern Virginia office. The firm started going by its new name, Kaplan & Frank, May 1.
Richard Gregory (pictured left) will continue to work as counsel for the firm.
Rob Kaplan, who co-founded the firm with Gregory in 2006, said in a statement: “Culturally, we have always afforded our lawyers the opportunity to pursue outside interests, and it is gratifying to know that Rick’s endeavors have been, and will continue to be, rewarding for him.”
The firm has 18 attorneys listed on its website and specializes in real estate law, general litigation, capital markets and bankruptcy law.
