Growth is good.

Twenty-five of Richmond’s fastest-growing companies were honored Thursday evening at the inaugural celebration of the RVA 25.

About 150 were in attendance at the private event, held at the Virginia Center for Architecture on Monument Avenue. Representatives of each of the 25 companies were on hand, as well the sponsors of the event.

Companies made the list based on a calculation of revenue growth from the past three years.

BizSense accepted applications for the RVA 25 throughout the summer. Scores of submissions were audited by Richmond-based accounting firm Keiter, which used a combination of raw dollar and percentage growth to produce the ranking.

The top five spots in the RVA 25 went to Specialty Coating & Laminating, Kinsale Capital, Sweet Frog Enterprises, Shockoe Commerce and Four Square Industrial Constructors.
