Ledbury plans to open a 670-square-foot storefront at 3319 Cady’s Alley in Georgetown, its first permanent retail shop outside of Richmond.

The high-end menswear brand confirmed its plans, which were first reported by the Washington Business Journal, saying its new location will offer its full collection as well as made-to-measure services.

“Washington, D.C. represents our second strongest market in the country, just behind New York City,” company spokesperson Elisabeth Edelman said in an email.

The company, which derives a bulk of its sales through its website, is familiar with the nation’s capital, having previously opened a temporary store in Georgetown in 2013.

This new permanent location will be its third retail outpost. The company launched in 2009 with its downtown location and last year expanded to the West End by acquiring Creery Custom Shirts in a deal that included Creery’s shop at 5710 Patterson Ave. in the West End.

Ledbury sells men’s shirts, sweaters, pants and accessories. Its ready-made shirts start at $125.
