Kaufman & Canoles won’t have to go too far when it moves into a new local office this summer.
The Norfolk-based law firm recently leased 14,235 square feet at Two James Center. It will be vacating its space at Three James Center.
“This is technically a renewal of our existing lease although we are relocating, said Richard Hurlbert, partner at the firm’s Richmond office.
The move will allow the firm to consolidate all of its employees on to one floor. It currently is spread between two floors at Three James Center.
“We’re just hanging our hats in a different location,” Hurlbert said.
Kaufman & Canoles has 30 total employees in Richmond, including 18 attorneys.
The move is expected to occur around mid-summer.
