Richmond-based frozen yogurt chain Sweet Frog is making the leap to Danville.
The new location will be owned and operated by Trey Falwell and Tyler Lee and will open in July. Falwell is the grandson of Liberty University founder Jerry Falwell.

Danville native Tyler Lee and Trey Falwell, who both studied business at Liberty University, partnered to open a franchise in Danville after they saw the exploding popularity of the Sweet Frog in Lynchburg, which opened in December.
“We really wanted to share the concept with Danville and let the people of Danville enjoy it, too,” Falwell said.
The first Sweet Frog opened in 2009 and has expanded to 10 locations. BizSense last month interviewed founder and company owner Derek Cha, who said they are aiming for another 10 locations over the next year.
