In case you haven’t noticed, VCU has been on a construction spree, with two new parking decks on Grace Street.

This coming month, they will be on a demolition spree as well. Vintage RVA has a round up of five buildings that VCU plans to demolish.

BizSense previously covered yet another historic building slated for the wrecking ball to make way for an expanded dorm. Demolition of that building, the former CommonGroundz coffee shop, was put on hold, but it appears to be back on according to an article recently published in the Times Dispatch.
