A Church Hill hot dog and pizza joint is changing more than just its name.
Buffington and Wine’s Pies, Fries, and Franks on North 29th and East Broad Streets recently changed its name to Buff’s Corner and will soon start delivering beer and wine.
The restaurant opened in January serving up the pizza, French fries, and hot dogs. It also sold some more interesting options like a hot dog steamed in Guinness, fried Twinkies, and frog legs.
Now the restaurant is boasting on its website that it will start offering 20 beers and 40 wines in mid-September and will use local bike delivery service, Quickness RVA, to deliver to the area.
Among the selection on the extensive booze list are beers like Fat Tire, Smuttynose, and Duck-Rabbit.
