BizSense recently spotted a sign announcing the pending arrival of Waffle House as the latest food chain looking to take space in VCU country.
The space is in the 1300 block of West Broad Street on the ground level of the Iron House Apartments, run by Genesis Properties. Leasing for the space is managed by Commonwealth Commercial.
The new Crave frozen yogurt shop is in the space next door.
Waffle House has at least 10 other Richmond locations, according to the chain’s website.
