Madison+Main signed Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary, a junior college in Petersburg. Madison+Main will design a new identity and marketing campaign for Richard Bland.
The firm also launched the FirstBank card cash campaign, which includes a TV spot that features FirstBank employees trying to give customers cash back.
The West Cary Group launched a new website and mobile app for Henrico Tourism. The site includes weather integration, an interactive map of the region, a site-specific search engine, and sort and filter functions.
Neathawk Dubuque & Packett won five awards at the Virginia Public Relations Awards.
ND&P won two Capital Awards of excellence for outstanding public relations programs in the direct mail and marketing consumer products categories. Both were for client AnMed Health to promote its cardiac program.
The firm also won three Commonwealth Awards of merit for outstanding public relations tactics. The awards were for their work with Heritage Hall, CMR Institute and its Save a Ton energy-reduction campaign.
The Martin Agency launched another add for its “Happier Than” GEICO campaign – this one features a happy camel.

Bank of Lancaster hired the King Agency to launch marketing campaigns for the Northern Neck community bank. The agency will create a series of print ads and radio spots that will promote Bank of Lancaster’s new loan production office and their business loan offerings.
The King Agency has also been hired by Nolde Bakery Condominiums to launch a marketing campaign for the Church Hill condo building. The firm will incorporate Nolde’s existing brand into a stationary package, sandwich boards and building signage. They’ll also launch a series of print and digital ads.
Commonwealth Partnerships Group received a 2013 Gold Hermes Creative Award for its publicity campaign for the Home Building Association of Richmond.
The Hodges Partnership expanded their relationship with Chesapeake Bank to include the bank’s Shop Local efforts and ongoing support for its blog. Chesapeake Bank operates 13 branches: four in the Northern Neck, three in the Middle Peninsula, five in Williamsburg and a loan production office in Richmond.
Free Agents Marketing released a promotional video for the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center and revamped the project’s website. Free Agents also handled the marketing and public relations for the training center.
