A Monroe Ward retailer is taking a page from Hollywood’s script for merchandising tie-ins.
Social Consignment at 11 W. Broad St. last week filled its front window with John F. Kennedy-related records in an apparent nod to “Killing Kennedy,” the made-for-TV movie filming this month in Richmond.
The mid-century display was well placed to catch an A-list eye or two. “Killing Kennedy” cast members were spotted dining at Pasture, Rappahannock and Lemaire. And David Arquette, in town this month to film “Field of Lost Shoes,” tweeted his way down Broad Street, visiting Quirk, Round Two and 212 Tattoo.
Vinyl records at Social Consignment are $5 each, or three for $10.
