Richmond BizSense has added another new member to our newsgathering tribe.
Katie Demeria recently joined the company as our newest reporter. She’ll be covering residential real estate, law, healthcare, nonprofits, higher education and more.
She joins us after a stint as a reporter at the Northern Virginia Daily in Strasburg. She’s a proud alumna of the College of William & Mary, where she studied English and philosophy. She was the executive editor of the university paper the Flat Hat her senior year.
Katie is now the second Tribe graduate on the BizSense staff.
Katie was born and raised in Manassas, Va. She’s the daughter of a sod farmer and has spent a lot of time riding horses back home.
