With a new year comes a new BizSense Pro.
Richmond BizSense has been hard at work behind the scenes in recent months to upgrade our premium data membership service, BizSense Pro.
It’s a system we launched in 2011 to give subscribers access to valuable data that’s used for leads, reference and to have an edge on the competition.
We’ve recently completed the fine-tuning of a beefed-up Pro system that makes all the data searchable and sortable. That applies to Breaking Ground, our twice monthly building permits report; The Docket, a weekly roundup of business-related court cases from around the region; New Business Licenses rundown on Fridays; and the Monday Foreclosures list.
Our new search bar makes it easier to sift through the data to find the exact information you need – for example, you could find every instance of a particular local contractor being sued for not paying its subs.
Each of those sections can also be downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet, where you can sort by any data set you need. So if you’re a salesperson looking to target all new businesses in a specific zip code, your Pro membership now makes that quicker and easier.
One of the most robust upgrades is to The List, a twice-monthly ranking of the top firms in Richmond’s most important industries, and consistently one of our most popular Pro offerings.
Subscribers use these lists as a reference guide and directory when calling on customers, for monitoring the growth of competitors and just for being in the know.
The List now comes in three formats: printer-friendly PDF, sortable Excel and standard HTML. Here’s an example of one our biggest lists of the year, which features data on more than 300 local companies.
Information on BizSense Pro subscriptions can be found here, or you can email Linda Dunham at [email protected].
And remember, while there is a $250 annual subscription for Pro content, all of the news produced each day by Richmond BizSense remains, as it always has been, free for the masses.
