With another new year comes another added feature to BizSense Pro.
We recently began offering one-time passes as an alternative for readers who don’t necessarily need to subscribe for the full year to our premium data service.
Instead, the one-time pass allows users to pay $50 to access a single data set. For now, those passes allow access only to BizSense Lists, our most popular paid data offerings, which rank the top companies in various industries around Richmond every two weeks.
The passes are a feature that readers have requested over the years, and we’re proud to finally have it in place.
The one-time pass follows upgrades to BizSense Pro rolled out last year, including the introduction of The DeedBook – our twice-monthly list of local real estate transfers – and a new system to make all the data sections sortable, searchable and downloadable.
Earlier this year, we also changed the pay structure for basic BizSense Pro subscriptions based on the size of the company using the account. We now offer individual subscriptions for companies with 10 employees or more for $500 per year. The annual fee is $250 for companies with fewer than 10 employees. For those smaller subscribers, please email our research editor Linda Dunham at [email protected] for more info.
All the other BizSense Pro data you’ve come to expect over the years remains: Breaking Ground, our twice-monthly building permits report; The Docket, a weekly roundup of business-related court cases from around the region; New Business Licenses rundown on Fridays; and the Monday Foreclosures list.
And to be clear, all the local business news BizSense covers Monday through Friday remains free and open to the masses, as it always has been.
