The old Jaks Bagels and Deli shop has a new tenant: a Philly steak and gyro joint called, well, Philly Steak & Gyros. A sign on the window says “Coming Soon.”
Jaks closed in spring 2012 after opening in 2010 at 3443 W. Cary St.
The storefront next door is also undergoing a change: Ruth and Ollie, a furniture store at 3445 W. Cary St., is moving to the old Leo Burke building at 3108 W. Cary St., across from Can Can Brasserie. Owners Kat and Mike Liebschwager plan to move into the new space by May.

Well at least it’s an imaginative name
Good luck with that location. Doesn’t seem to be a good one for those types of establishments.
this is going to be the best restaurant in cary town and in richmond,it is so nice inside and i eat there, food is so good
Won’t last more than a year.
Ate there today. I work in Carytown. It’s a good spot for steak & cheese. Open lunch and until 3am on weekends. Got lrge sub for less than $7. Can’t beat that price. Definitely going back and already tweeted my opinion too.
Great tasting Lamb Gyros!
I enjoyed eating there while using the free WiFi they have available inside. I have conducted online business there and enjoyed the good food during a business lunch. They have fast friendly service.
I will be back many more times.
