The Redskins’ Richmond practice field is going up in record time.
The fields are graded, and the adjoining office building is framed.
The goal is to get the whole thing done by the end of summer, when RGIII will limp and the rest of the Redskins will march into town.
Training camp is held in August.
The city struck a deal last year with Bon Secours to get the facility built by trading the Westhampton school property and naming rights for a lease on the office space and a promised expansion to the health system’s East End hospital.
Bon Secours plans a 75,000-square-foot medical-use building at the Westhampton property. Its total payout for the training camp will be about $7.4 million over 10 years.

Does anyone know whether Bon Secours will be keeping the building at Westhampton? It’s a great looking building and I would hate to see it torn down.
Also, how about that playground that the neighborhood loves?
