Another local retailer is setting up shop at Stony Point.
Lamp Emporium last week opened a second location at the Southside mall. The original Lamp Emporium is at 3520 Pump Road in Short Pump.
As its name implies, the store sells and repairs lamps of all sorts, in addition to selling furniture and home decor.
Lamp Emporium owner David Henshaw was not available for comment.
Lamp Emporium is at least the third Richmond-based retailer to sign on for space at Stony Point in recent months.
Ledbury announced in August its plans for a pop-up store at the mall that will run for the month of September.
The VMFA will run a seasonal store at Stony Point from mid-October through December. The outpost will carry popular items from the museum’s gift shop.
There’s also activity just outside the mall.
Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners is planning a 282-unit apartment complex for a 27-acre plot just north of Dilliard’s.
