Chicago-based Cresco Labs announced this week that it’s extending the deadline to close its pending acquisition of Columbia Care, which owns Green Leaf Medical and its Richmond-area dispensaries.
The Reston-based builder bought two parcels that include Rockwood Golf Park and account for about half of the acreage needed for a 322-unit condo and townhouse at Hull Street and Courthouse roads.
Construction began last month on West Village, which is planned to include 50,000 square feet of commercial space as well as about 100 two-over-two condos at the intersection of West Broad Street and Gayton Road.
Three new Ironclad cafes will replace the three Caribou Coffees that Delaware North has operated at the airport – in the A and B concourses as well as the shuttered cafe in the airport’s atrium.

The owners of the Short Pump Mellow Mushroom, including local hotelier Jay Shah, recently opened a new location inside a hotel at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. They’re headed to Northern Virginia next.
Investors in the capital raise included Richmond-based Blue Heron Capital. The money will funds the company’s plans to use to expand into North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Nebraska and New Mexico.
