SproutSprout, a cafe on North Morris Street closed for good on Monday.

The restaurant, which only opened last May announced on its Facebook page  Sept. 2 that it would be closing September 5.

Sprout served lunch and dinner with much of its menu sourced from Virginia farmers and producers.

BizSense covered Sprout when it opened in May 2010 taking over the same retail space previously occupied by CuppaTea, which had closed the previous year.
