The RVA 25 is back.
BizSense is once again looking for the fastest-growing companies in Richmond as part of our second annual RVA 25.
The application process is now open for the popular list and event that will identify and honor local firms that have been on a hot streak in recent years.
Through an objective, confidential measurement, this list will shine a light on locally based, privately held companies that had the fastest rates of revenue growth from 2011 through 2013. These are the quickly rising companies that support our local economy with new jobs and innovative products and services.
Scores of companies participated in last year’s application process and included firms of all industries and sizes. Among the honorees were locally based industrial firms, insurance companies, retailers, marketing agencies, a salon chain, a shirt maker and a frozen yogurt company.
Like last year, Richmond-based accounting firm Keiter will compile and verify the applications and provide BizSense with the list of the top 25. Our final calculation will take into account both percentage growth and raw dollar growth. All financial results are seen only by Keiter and kept confidential.
Applications will be collected through August.
The rankings will be released in a BizSense List in late September. On Oct. 2, we will honor the RVA 25 at an evening event at the top of one of Richmond’s tallest office towers.
Make sure your firm is in the running and don’t miss the deadline. Fill out our brief survey today.
