The fastest-growing companies in Richmond were honored Wednesday evening with the downtown skyline as a backdrop.
Richmond BizSense hosted the fourth annual RVA 25 celebration on the roof of the Quirk Hotel at 201 W. Broad St.
The RVA 25 each year tallies the growth of locally based, privately held companies. This year’s field was ranked by average annual revenue growth from 2012-2015 among companies with at least $500,000 in annual revenue.
On hand at the event were representatives of the 25 companies, including this year’s No. 1: WealthForge, which reported three-year revenue growth of 455 percent, capped by $5.1 million in revenue in 2015.
Also present was Mike Kehoe, founder and CEO of RVA 25 alumnus Kinsale Capital Group. Kinsale recently went public and is traded on Nasdaq.
Check out the full rankings here and enjoy the slideshow above with scenes from the evening.
Congrats to all the firms that made the top 25 this year. For those that applied but didn’t make the list, your growth hasn’t gone unnoticed and we hope you’ll consider trying again next.
And special thanks to all our RVA 25 sponsors: presenting sponsor Sands Anderson, Keiter, MartinAir, Davenport & Co., First Community Bank, Virginia Council of CEOs, Union Bank & Trust and VCU School of Business.
