Coming out of left field, Richmond BizSense, with the help of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, is proud to introduce a socially-distanced outing to give local companies and their employees a much-needed day at the ballpark.
The first BizSense Home Run Derby will be held Aug. 26 at The Diamond. Group packages are now on sale.
It’s a chance for a limited group of businesses to send two batters to the plate to take their rips, and have a roped off section in the stands for employees, family members, clients and friends to cheer them on.
While in normal times we’d love to pack the Diamond, we are limiting the event to 25 company teams. That includes two batters per company and a spaced out section of the stadium for 10 exclusive to your business and stocked with drinks and food and set up for maximum Covid-precautions.
That will help us limit the total number of people in the Diamond to 250.
