The former Moe’s Southwest Grill storefront is now home to Bell Greek, which has three locations in the region.
“There was one BB.Q location there in Boston. We would drive a one-hour round trip just to get the chicken,” franchisee Unsin An said of her introduction to the brand. “It was that good.”
The move into beer downtown follows a similar strategy the company deployed at its flagship in Roseland, known as The Farm, about 100 miles west of Richmond.
“This is kind of my big splurge,” said owner Christopher Kilgore. “This is my dream store, this is my life.”
