A Fan sandwich shop is on the move again, and a new restaurant is set to take over its spot on West Cary Street.

With its longtime tenant on the way out, a restaurant property between the Fan and Carytown is in the hands of a new owner, whose intentions for the building remain a mystery.

Johnny Giavos said his group will open the Continental Manchester, as well as a small market, likely a Stella’s Grocery, in the City View Marketplace development.

The coffee shop chain is planning to construct a freestanding location in place of the former Pizza Hut restaurant at 10141 Hull Street Road in the Big Lots-anchored Rockwood Square Shopping Center.

After its first attempt to get into the Richmond market fell flat, the Canadian chain of axe-throwing bars is back with a location next to Strangeways Brewing and across from Circuit Arcade Bar.
