A mother-daughter team plans to launch their first eatery in January at 301 N. Robinson St.
“It’s a Chipotle of breakfast,” Zach Archibald said of Surrounding Counties, his new café in the Westbury Shopping Center.
“Why not open during COVID to get cheap prices (on real estate) and get good employees because everyone is looking for a job,” said co-owner Anthony Mijares.
“It’s a lot of pressure to live up to everyone else’s expectations from the family business but I’m confident in myself,” said Lorna Bedford.

The new owner of the long-running Devil’s Triangle bar also owns a restaurant in Chester.
“We want the restaurant to have that feeling of, ‘Oh, we’re going to grandma’s house,’ but it’s the cool grandma,” said co-owner Mike Lindsey, formerly of EAT Restaurant Partners.
